FAQ for Drivers

If you meet all of the requirements below and describe yourself as a people person with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a knack for being on time, we'd love to partner with you! You can apply by clicking the blue button at the top of the page that says Apply to Drive. If you're using a mobile device, you can apply by clicking on the three lines in the upper right hand corner. All delivery partners must: • Be 19+ years of age (21+ in Chicago) • Own an iPhone with iOS 10 or higher OR an Android with 5.0 or higher (must have a data plan) • Have a data plan • Have a checking account for direct deposit • Authorize and pass a background check Additionally Those who wish to partner with Tuckeat using a Car must: • Have a valid driver’s license (for at least 2 years) • Have auto insurance Those who wish to partner with Tuckeat using a Bicycle must: • Have a valid state ID
In order to help foster a positive experience for our delivery partners, Tuckeat strives to avoid having too many drivers on the road at any particular time in our markets. This means that occasionally we pause bringing on new drivers to provide our already existing delivery partners the best opportunity to earn. If you have already submitted your information at info@tuckeat.com, we have your information and will contact you when there is availability in your region. There is no further action that you need to take at this time.
You can view the status of your application from your applicant portal. To access this portal, check for an email from Tuckeat for Drivers or a text from Tuckeat. Both of these will have a link to your personalized portal.

If you’ve already downloaded the Tuckeat for Drivers App, you can also apply directly from there using the link at the bottom of the sign-in screen.
How you receive your delivery equipment is dependent on if there's a local Tuckeat office in your market. You'll be alerted soon after completing on boarding whether or not your market has a local office. Local Office If you are in a market with a local office, you will sign up for a time to pick up your equipment at the end of on boarding. You will also receive an email from your Driver Specialist with available times and instructions on how to pick up your equipment No Local Office If you are in a market that does not hold equipment pickups at the local office, you will receive your delivery bags 3-5 business days after completing your on boarding. We will send you an email with the tracking number once it becomes available
It’s recommended but not required to begin delivering with Tuckeat! Throughout on boarding, we'll show you how to schedule blocks, tell you more about getting paid, share driver tips and tricks, and walk you through logging into and using the Tuckeat for Drivers app. If you would like to opt out of on boarding, please reply to the email inviting you to complete it.
After you’ve been verified to partner with Tuckeat! If you have your own insulated delivery bag and opt out of Tuckeat’s you can get on the road right away! If your region offers local bag pickup, you will be able to log in to the app after you pickup your bags from Tuckeat! If your gear is being shipped, there's no need to wait! You can deliver with any insulated delivery bag!
